3x Black Currant Ben Nevis Bush

Ben Nevis is an excellent variety of fruit bush, which is very similar to the Ben Lomond variety. Ideal for the smaller garden, as this plant grows neat and compact. The blackcurrant is a vigorous, high yielding fruit bush that produces large glossy black fruits, forming from green, insignificant flowers in summer. An abundance of blackcurrants appear from mid July-mid August on short sprigs, which makes them easy to pick. The fruits are brilliant for freezing and perfect for pies and jams. Ben Nevis has good resistance to Powdery mildew. A great bush to have if you would like to grow your own fruits.
