Blackcurrant (General) Fruit Bush

The blackcurrant is a vigorous, high yielding fruit bush that produces large glossy black fruit forming from greenish-yellow, insignificant flowers in mid-summer followed by large crops, in heavy clusters. The tart fruits hangs on the plant for a long time without splitting, fruits can be picked from July. The fruits can be frozen, brilliant for pies and jams. Can be fan trained against a wall or fence. Ideal for any garden and allotment.
