Goosberry Hinnonmaki Yellow

A delightful Gooseberry bush that is definitely worth growing in the garden or allotment. A very productive plant, producing heavy crops of medium-large, yellow fruits with an outstanding flavour. They have a delicious aroma and taste, with a hint of apricot, perfect for culinary and dessert uses. A self fertile variety, and has a good resistant to disease, ideal if you don't have time to mess around with sprays or prefer to garden organically. Is of spreading habit, and may need a little extra support. The plant is also an excellent attractant and nectar source for bees and other small insects.
