Gooseberry Invicta Fruit bush

The Gooseberry Invicta is the most popular gooseberry grown within the UK. This vigorous, heavy cropping deciduous gooseberry bears thorny stems of deeply lobed, glossy dark green foliage and during summer small clusters of white flowers emerge, followed by heavy crops of large smooth berries that have a sweet flavour. The fruit is green but the skin turns white and transparent when ripe, the gooseberry is high yielding and is of spreading habit. Gooseberry Invicta has good resistance to Mildew.
