Lonicera Belgica

Belgica, is a beautiful climber, bringing delight to the summer garden. A favourite for the cottage or wildlife garden but brilliant for all gardens. Producing lovely, cart-wheel shaped flower heads, made up of rings of curved, almost tubular individual flowers. These deepen in colour slightly as the flower ages, so the plant appears to have cream, pink and rosy flowers all open at once. Flowers are heavily scented which is very sweet. Bears oval grey-green leaves. A vigorous, twining climber which will rapidly climb a trellis or over arches. After a hot summer, Belgica may produce bright red berries. The climber is highly attractive to bees, butterflies and ladybirds.
