Common Hazelnut Tree

A small, fast growing, native, deciduous tree, which produces nuts in autumn. There are long yellow dangling catkins in spring and then quite dense foliage. The leaves are very broad, bright green and veined with a pointed tip. It makes a multi-stemmed plant that spreads out quite widely. Can also be used a hedging plant, if you would like something that little bit different.
