Magnolia Stellata (Star Magnolia)

Magnolia stellata is a the smallest of the Magnolias, bearing plentiful of pure white, star shaped, scented flowers in March to April. The buds themselves are gorgeous, being long in shape, with a flushed pink base and very silky to the touch. The slightly Scented flowers are borne, before the emerging foliage, smothering this stunning, small tree. An architectural, bushy, compact small tree, perfect for the smaller garden. Ideal for specimen planting in the centre of a lawn.
