Specimen olive Tree

The Olive tree is an attractive slow growing tree of Mediterranean origin, so make them an excellent specimens for the Mediterranean style garden. The Olive needs a sunny, sheltered spot to thrive and is hardy to -5 degrees and some care care may be required during extended cold spells. Olive forms a rounded head of silver- grey leaves, the tiny creamy-white flowers emerge in the summer and are small, these are then followed by small fruit that ripen to black in autumn. The Olive is also a great tree to be planted in a large pot that can sit in a greenhouse or conservatory.
